Cinemar now offers our third generation MLServer Controllers that can be purchased preloaded with all of our popular MainLobby 3 suite software to make it super easy to experience the best in home automation and media control. All of the server hardware components were hand picked for speed, reliability, low noise, value, good looks and compatibility with Cinemar software. Cinemar server components are also Intel Viiv compatible.

D8052 MLServer Controller

Introducing the D8052. Designed as the cost effective MainLobby Server Controller.

Based around a robust rack mount 4U chassis (black), the D8052 chassis includes a lockable access door (to keep prying hands out) and a 120 mm cooling fan to promote system reliability and low noise. We use Intel's DG965WH motherboard and the D805 processor. A 80 gig hard drive is used for the operating system and MLServer software.The D8052 comes complete with the MLServer Combo Package (MainLobby Client and MainLobby Server3) and MCE2005 operating system. You can add any Cinemar software to your order that will be custom loaded and configured for you.

Control: The D8052 comes equipped with seven comports and Cinemar's USBIR6 IR transceiver to control many home automation and Audio / Video equipment.

Music: Add Cinemar's MusicLobby software and the D8052 is great for use as a multi zone audio server. Add a few AMP152 audio amplifier cards, and the D8052 easily connects to your home's speakers creating a complete multi zone audio system at an unheard of price for this capability and performance. You can also feed a Nuvo, Russound or Netstreams whole house audio system by connecting the D8052 sound card outputs to your audio distribution system.

Movies: The D8052 is not recommended to be used as a video rendering system for play back of DVD movies due to the high CPU requirements that video playback demands that might interfere with smooth playback and MLServer command processing. The D8052 will work excellent to control your serial Sony CX777ES changer as there isn't any video rendering being done by the D8052 for changer based movie viewing.

E6400 MLServer Controller

Introducing the E6400. Designed for excellent performance and reliability as the primary MainLobby Server Controller in a medium scale system.

Based around the Silverstone LC20 chassis (black), the server can be used as a desktop PC or can be installed in an equipment rack with the included 4U adapter kit. The E6400 is setup with Raid 1 hard drives for prevention against data loss in case of a hard drive failure.

Control: The E6400 comes equipped with seven comports to control many home automation and Audio / Video equipment.

Music: The E6400 is perfect for use as a multi zone audio server with it's twin 330 gig Raid 1 hard drives for lots of backed up music storage. Add a few AMP152 audio amplifier cards, and the E6400 easily connects to your home's speakers creating a complete multi zone audio system at an unheard of price for this capability and performance. You can also feed a Nuvo, Russound or Netstreams whole house audio system by connecting the E6400 sound card outputs to your audio distribution system.

Movies: You can also playback hard drive based DVD movies with the included and setup TheaterTek software DVD player and DVDLobby Pro 3 movie catalog system. Support for the 400 disk Sony CX777ES DVD changer is also included for Disk based movie automation. Your family won't need to know where the movie is stored. The E6400 is prepared for multiple client PC connections. Will work perfectly with Cinemar's new Nobu In-Wall Touchscreens. With the E6400's motherboard based VGA output and the presetup MainLobby client software load, you can use these servers as high performance client PCs as well (HTPC).

Boasting the latest 2 Core Intel processor and 2 Gig of dual channel OCZ RAM, the E6400 can handle whole house automation in stride. The latest 2 Core Duo processor is faster, more energy efficient and runs cooler (which also means can run quieter) than the prior Dual Core or AMD processors. The Cinemar E6400 also is excellent as a Home Theater PC (HTPC). For PC Gaming, or to further increase the video capability, purchase the optional ATI X800 video PCi video card for excellent video performance. This All in Wonder card also works well with Cinemar's new MLMediaStream plugin to stream captured video to other PCs. E6400 Media Server (dealer only)

The E6400 Media Server is equipped with 2.5 Terabit storage for instant movie, photo and music serving. The Media Server is setup to be used as the MLServer Central Controller as well.

The operating system and MainLobby software is preloaded onto two 80 gig hard drives setup as Raid1 for reliability and redundancy. Additionally, there are four 750 gig hard drives for media storage setup Raid5 for media protection against hardware failure.

All drives are in six hot swap external bays to make it very easy to maintain the server out in the field.
